School Council
Serving on a Catholic School Council is a Ministry.
We are one body, one community, but have many parts with many diverse gifts. Sharing our gifts benefits St. Mary students, administration, faculty and staff.
Council members serve the school in an advisory role to the pastor and principal:
Participating in establishing a strategic plan and goals
Participating in the accomplishment of these goals
Operating a cost-effective school
Leadership in the Annual Appeal, marketing, development, recruitment, communications, facilities
Ultimately, be the “Good-will Ambassadors” communicating the good news happening at the school
Council members will be selected through a process of discernment. Those interested in being considered for membership will submit a resume and participate in the discernment process. Please email the board with questions, comments and concerns, lhalbardier@stmarylc.org.
