Who: 2nd– 8th grade
When: Monday - Beginner (New to Orchestra Club)
Wednesday - Symphony (Previous Orchestra Club Member)
Time: 3:15-4:30
Pickup: Back of school at 4:30
Cost: $125/Student
Max: 20 Students (each class)
Mission: Students will learn instrument technique, reading music, music theory, orchestra etiquette, ensemble playing, teamwork, self-confidence, and performance skills. We will have performances throughout the year, performance-based service projects, and a field trip!
Details:
- Open to beginners and experienced players: violin, viola, cello, double bass
- Required purchases/rentals:
- Rental: violin/viola, bow, case, rosin, shoulder rest, strings, cleaning cloth
- Essential Elements for Strings – Book 1 (for your instrument)
- One inch black binder
- One manila folder
- Pencil
- Instrument rental – generally $22-26 per month.
