SMCS Fairway to Heaven Annual Golf Classic
We are so grateful for the unwavering support of St. Mary of the Expectation Catholic Church and our wonderful community. SMCS Supporters' continued generosity has made the Fairway to Heaven Golf Classic a tremendous success year after year. All funds raised go directly and solely to benefit St. Mary Catholic School.
When we launched this tournament in 2024, we had no idea how warmly it would be received. Now, after several successful years, it has become a cherished tradition that our supporters eagerly anticipate.
The tournament day itself is packed with excitement and fun at every turn. Here are just a few of the highlights — not to mention the special memories you’ll make with colleagues, friends, and family. We invite you to sponsor, golf, or volunteer!
- 144 players (36 teams) and we sell out every year!
- Breakfast and check-in starting at 7:00 a.m., featuring kolaches, donuts, coffee, and fresh-squeezed orange juice — no shortage of food!
- A putting contest on the green before tee-off.
- Opening prayer led by Father John and Father Simon.
- Gift bags for each golfer — backpacks, cooler bags, or totes filled with snacks and goodies.
- The exciting Golf Cannon and Hole-in-One contest, featuring a chance to win a brand-new truck and other great prizes.
- Two beverage carts circulating throughout the course.
- The SMCS Tent with games, prizes, snacks, fresh fruit, water, and Gatorade.
- A delicious custom hot box lunch from Schafers Coastal Bar & Grill, featuring their famous fish tacos (plus a non-fish option).
- Adorable and tasty golf-themed iced cookies for dessert.
- Awards ceremony, prizes, and silent auction to wrap up the day.
We hope you’ll consider forming a foursome, signing up as an individual golfer (we’ll place individuals on a team!), or inviting others you know to join in.
